Bio
Samantha Barks is a British actress and singer best known for her work in musical theatre. She first gained widespread recognition after finishing third in the BBC talent show I'd Do Anything in 2008, which led to her West End debut as Nancy in Oliver!. Barks originated the role of Éponine in the 2010 London revival of Les Misérables and reprised the part in the 2012 film adaptation, earning a Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the ensemble cast. Her other notable stage credits include Velma Kelly in Chicago and Elsa Schröder in The Sound of Music.
