Bio
Lea Salonga is a Filipino singer and actress best known for originating the role of Kim in the West End and Broadway productions of Miss Saigon, for which she became the first Asian woman to win a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical. She also provided the singing voice of Fa Mulan in Disney’s animated films Mulan and Mulan II, and has performed in numerous other stage productions including Les Misérables, Flower Drum Song, and Allegiance. Salonga has released several solo albums and continues to perform internationally, maintaining a career that spans theater, film, television, and recording.
