Bio

Leonel García is a Mexican singer-songwriter born in Mexico City in 1975. He first gained prominence as one half of the pop duo Sin Bandera, whose romantic ballads topped Latin charts throughout the early 2000s. After the duo’s hiatus, García launched a solo career, releasing introspective albums that blend pop, folk, and singer-songwriter traditions. His work is noted for literate lyrics and understated acoustic arrangements, and he remains one of Mexico’s most respected contemporary composers.
