Bio
Alina Ibragimova is a Russian-born violinist based in the United Kingdom. She studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School and the Royal College of Music, later winning the Royal Philharmonic Society Young Artist Award. Known for historically informed performances, she has recorded extensively for Hyperion Records, including complete cycles of Mozart and Bach violin sonatas and concertos. She is a frequent soloist with leading orchestras and artistic director of the Chiaroscuro Quartet. Her playing is noted for clarity, precision, and expressive depth across Baroque, Classical, and contemporary repertoire.
