Nadine Sutherland is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall singer born in Kingston in 1968. She first gained attention in the late 1980s with her single "The Real Thing," produced by Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong label, and later became known for her work with producers such as Sly & Robbie and Donovan Germain. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s she released several albums and singles that blended lovers rock, dancehall, and soca influences. Sutherland has maintained an active career performing and recording in Jamaica and internationally, often collaborating with artists across the reggae spectrum.
