Emmanuel Top is a French electronic music producer and DJ born in Lille in 1971. He emerged in the early 1990s as a key figure in the European acid techno scene, releasing influential tracks on labels such as F Communications and his own imprint, Attack Records. His 1994 single "Ecsta-Deal" and the 1996 release "Asteroid" became underground anthems, noted for their raw, hypnotic acid lines and driving rhythms. Top has maintained a low public profile while continuing to produce and perform, remaining a respected name in techno circles.
