Bio
Dave Lee, known professionally as Joey Negro, is an English DJ and record producer born on the Isle of Wight in 1964. He is recognized for his work in disco house, funky house, and nu disco, often re-editing and remixing classic disco tracks for modern dancefloors. Lee founded the Z Records label and has released numerous singles and albums under the Joey Negro name as well as several aliases. His productions frequently sample 1970s and 1980s soul and disco records, helping to sustain interest in those genres within contemporary house music circles.
