Bio
Rustin Man is the solo project of Paul Webb, an English musician born in London in 1962. He first gained recognition as the bassist for the band Talk Talk, contributing to their albums The Colour of Spring, Spirit of Eden, and Laughing Stock. After the group disbanded, Webb adopted the Rustin Man moniker to explore more experimental and atmospheric music. His debut solo album, Out of Season (2002), was a collaboration with singer Beth Gibbons of Portishead. The record blended trip-hop, folk, and chamber-pop elements, earning critical acclaim for its intimate production and melancholic tone. Subsequent releases, such as Drift Code (2019) and Clockdust (2020), further showcased his distinctive songwriting and textural approach to sound.
