David Draiman is an American singer and songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Disturbed. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on March 13, 1973, he rose to prominence in the late 1990s with Disturbed’s debut album The Sickness, which featured the hit single “Down with the Sickness.” Draiman’s distinctive baritone voice and intense stage presence helped the band achieve multi-platinum success across subsequent releases such as Believe, Ten Thousand Fists, and Indestructible. Beyond Disturbed, Draiman has contributed guest vocals to projects by artists including Megadeth and Trivium, and he has also explored production and songwriting roles. His work spans the nu-metal and hard-rock genres, and he remains an active figure in the metal community.
