Echo Minott, born Noel Phillips in Kingston, Jamaica in 1963, is a veteran dancehall and reggae singer whose career spans the 1980s onward. He first gained attention with singles such as "Lazy Body" and "Murder Weapon," establishing himself as a distinctive voice in the emerging digital dancehall era. Over the decades he has recorded for many of Jamaica’s leading producers and labels, releasing material that ranges from roots reggae to ragga and jungle styles.
