MIYAVI is a Japanese rock guitarist born on September 14, 1981, in Konohana-ku, Osaka. He first gained prominence in the visual kei scene as the guitarist for the band Dué le Quartz before launching a solo career that blended rock, blues, and experimental elements. Known for his distinctive slap-style guitar technique, he has released numerous albums and collaborated with international artists across genres.
