The Royal Choral Society is a British choir founded in London in 1871. It is one of the United Kingdom’s oldest and most prestigious choral ensembles, known for large-scale performances of oratorios and choral symphonies at the Royal Albert Hall and other major venues. The Society has maintained a continuous tradition of presenting works by Handel, Mendelssohn, Elgar and contemporary composers, often collaborating with leading orchestras and soloists.
