Peter Frampton is an English rock musician, singer, songwriter, and producer born in Bromley, United Kingdom, in 1950. He first gained prominence as a guitarist in the bands Humble Pie and The Herd before launching a successful solo career. Frampton is best known for his 1976 live album "Frampton Comes Alive!", which became one of the best-selling live albums of all time and established him as a major rock artist. His expressive guitar playing, particularly his use of the talk box, helped define his signature sound. Over the course of his career, Frampton has released numerous studio albums and collaborated with many prominent musicians. He continues to perform and record, maintaining a significant presence in the classic rock genre.
