Bio
The Ronettes were an American girl group formed in the early 1960s in New York City, consisting of sisters Veronica and Estelle Bennett and their cousin Nedra Talley. They became one of the defining acts of the girl-group era with their distinctive beehive hairstyles and powerful vocals, achieving major success under producer Phil Spector. Their signature hit "Be My Baby" (1963) remains one of the most influential recordings in pop music history, and the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007.
