Les Nubians is a French neo-soul and R&B duo formed in Paris in 1998 by sisters Hélène and Célia Faussart. The group blends French and English lyrics with influences from jazz, soul, and African rhythms, reflecting their Cameroonian heritage. Their debut album "Princesses Nubiennes" (1998) brought international attention, featuring the hit single "Makeda." Les Nubians have continued to release music that explores themes of identity, love, and social issues, maintaining a distinctive sound within the French and global neo-soul scenes.
