Bio
Devonté Hynes is a British musician, composer, and producer born in Ilford in 1985. He first gained recognition as the frontman of the indie band Test Icicles before embarking on a solo career under the name Blood Orange. Hynes is known for his eclectic style that blends elements of funk, soul, R&B, and electronic music. Beyond his own recordings, Hynes has established himself as a sought-after collaborator and composer, working with artists such as Solange, FKA twigs, and Carly Rae Jepsen. He has also composed scores for film and television, including the soundtrack for the 2015 film "Palo Alto."
