Astrid Smeplass (born 29 October 1996), known professionally as Astrid S, is a Norwegian singer-songwriter from Rennebu. She first gained attention after placing fifth on the Norwegian version of Pop Idol in 2013 and subsequently signed with Universal Music Norway. Her debut EP, "Party's Over," was released in 2017, followed by the full-length album "Trust Issues" in 2019. Astrid S is known for her blend of electronic-tinged pop and introspective lyrics, and she has collaborated with artists such as Troye Sivan and Lauv.
