Bio
Vic Mensa is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Chicago, Illinois. Born on June 6, 1993, he first gained recognition as a founding member of the hip-hop collective Kids These Days before launching a solo career. His debut mixtape Innanetape (2013) and subsequent singles such as “U Mad” and “Down on My Luck” established his reputation for rapid-fire delivery and socially conscious lyricism. Mensa’s 2016 EP There’s a Lot Going On and his debut studio album The Autobiography (2017) further showcased his blend of introspective storytelling and high-energy production. He has collaborated with artists including Kanye West, Skrillex, and Pusha T, and remains active in both music and activism rooted in his Chicago upbringing.
