TobyMac (born Kevin Michael McKeehan, October 22, 1964) is an American Christian hip-hop artist, singer-songwriter, and record producer from Fairfax, Virginia. He first gained prominence as a founding member of the Christian rap trio dc Talk, whose albums sold millions worldwide in the 1990s. After the group went on hiatus, TobyMac launched a solo career that blended hip-hop, rock, pop, and EDM, releasing a string of albums on ForeFront Records and Capitol CMG that consistently topped the Billboard Christian charts. Known for high-energy live shows and socially conscious lyrics, TobyMac has earned multiple Grammy, Dove, and Billboard Music Awards. His catalog includes hits such as "Made to Love," "Speak Life," and "I just need U.," and he remains one of the most streamed Christian artists on digital platforms.
