Alia Bhatt is an Indian actress and singer who works primarily in Hindi-language films. Born in Mumbai in 1993, she made her acting debut as a child in the 1999 film Sangharsh and later gained prominence with her lead role in the 2012 coming-of-age drama Student of the Year. She has since starred in several commercially successful and critically acclaimed films, including Highway, Dear Zindagi, and Gangubai Kathiawadi. In addition to acting, Bhatt has contributed to music as a playback singer. Her debut single "Sooha Saha" from Highway was followed by other recordings such as "Samjhawan Unplugged" and "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" title track. She is known for her versatile performances across genres ranging from romantic dramas to action thrillers.
