Bio
Leslie Howard is an Australian pianist, musicologist and composer based in London. He is internationally recognised for his complete recording of Franz Liszt’s piano works, a project that spans 99 CDs and earned him the Grand Prix du Disque. Howard has also recorded the complete piano sonatas of Scriabin and the Beethoven piano sonatas, and he frequently performs and lectures on lesser-known Romantic repertoire. His scholarly editions of Liszt’s music are published by Editio Musica Budapest. Howard studied at Monash University and the Royal College of Music before settling in the UK.
