Caroline Lavelle is an English cellist, singer and songwriter born in London in 1964. She is known for her work in the Celtic and new-age genres, blending classical cello technique with ethereal vocals and atmospheric arrangements. She has collaborated with artists such as the Chieftains, Loreena McKennitt and Peter Gabriel, and released several solo albums that showcase her distinctive voice and cello playing.
