Bio
Scissor Sisters is an American pop-rock band formed in New York City in 2001. The group is known for its eclectic mix of glam rock, pop, and disco influences, fronted by singer Jake Shears and keyboardist Babydaddy. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2004, became a commercial success in the UK and Europe, featuring hits such as "Take Your Mama" and "Laura."
