Patra is a Jamaican dancehall and reggae singer born Dorothy Smith on November 22, 1972, in Kingston. She rose to prominence in the early 1990s with her blend of dancehall, ragga, and reggae, achieving international success with hits such as "Queen of the Pack" and "Worker Man." Her music often features bold, empowering lyrics and she became one of the first female dancehall artists to gain significant mainstream recognition outside Jamaica.
