Hailee Steinfeld is an American actress and singer born on December 11, 1996, in Los Angeles, California. She first gained widespread recognition for her Academy Award-nominated performance as Mattie Ross in the 2010 Coen Brothers film True Grit. Steinfeld transitioned into music with her debut single "Love Myself" in 2015, followed by her debut EP Haiz later that year. Her pop and R&B-influenced sound has produced hits such as "Starving," "Most Girls," and "Let Me Go."
