María Rodríguez Garrido, known professionally as Mala Rodríguez, is a Spanish rapper and singer born on February 13, 1979, in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz. She emerged in the late 1990s as one of the first prominent female voices in Spanish-language hip hop, blending flamenco influences with urban beats. Her debut album, "Lujo Ibérico" (2000), established her as a distinctive artist known for socially conscious lyrics and powerful delivery. Over the following decades she released several acclaimed albums, including "Alevosía" (2003) and "Malamarismo" (2007), and collaborated with artists across Latin and European music scenes.
