BTS is a seven-member South Korean boy band formed in Seoul in 2013 by Big Hit Entertainment. The group consists of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. They rose to global prominence with a string of chart-topping albums and singles that blend hip-hop, pop, R&B, and EDM. BTS became the first K-pop act to top the Billboard 200 and have since achieved multiple number-one albums and singles worldwide. Their work often addresses mental health, self-love, and social issues, resonating with a massive international fanbase known as ARMY. The members have also pursued successful solo careers and acting roles while maintaining group activities. BTS has received numerous awards, including multiple Billboard Music Awards and Grammy nominations.
