Bio
Blaqbonez is a Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter from Lagos. He rose to prominence in the late 2010s as a leading figure in the alté movement and Nigerian hip-hop scene. His debut album "Bling Bling" (2018) and follow-up "Sex Over Love" (2020) established his reputation for witty lyricism and genre-blending production. Subsequent projects such as "Young Preacher" (2022) and "No Excuses" (2024) further showcased his versatility across afrobeats, drill, and pop-infused sounds. He has collaborated with artists including Burna Boy, Amaarae, and Odumodublvck, and is signed to Chocolate City.
