Bio
August Alsina is an American R&B singer and songwriter from New Orleans, Louisiana. He rose to prominence in the early 2010s with a series of mixtapes and singles that showcased his smooth vocal style and introspective songwriting. His 2013 single "I Luv This Shit" featuring Trinidad James became a commercial breakthrough, leading to a major-label deal and the release of his debut album Testimony in 2014.
