Jazzanova is a Berlin-based collective formed in 1995, known for blending jazz, funk, soul, and electronic music into a distinctive downtempo and nu-jazz sound. The group emerged from the city’s club scene and quickly became a key figure in the European nu-jazz movement, releasing influential albums on their own Sonar Kollektiv label. Their productions often feature live instrumentation alongside sampled grooves, creating a warm, organic aesthetic that has earned them a dedicated international following.
