Bio
Terror Squad is an American hip-hop collective formed in 1998 in the Bronx, New York. The group was founded by rapper Fat Joe and initially included members such as Big Pun, Cuban Link, Triple Seis, Prospect, and Armageddon. They gained mainstream recognition with their 1999 debut album "The Album," which featured the hit single "Whatcha Gon' Do?" featuring Big Pun. Following Big Pun's death in 2000, the group's lineup evolved, with later members including Remy Ma and Tony Sunshine. Terror Squad achieved their biggest commercial success with the 2004 single "Lean Back," which topped the Billboard Hot 100. The collective was known for its hardcore East Coast rap style and remained active through the mid-2000s before largely disbanding.
