Carl Cox is a British techno DJ and producer born on 29 July 1962 in Oldham, England. He rose to prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s as one of the leading figures in the acid house and techno scenes, becoming known for his three-deck DJ sets and energetic performances. Throughout his career, Cox has been a resident at major clubs and festivals worldwide, including Space in Ibiza and the Dance Arena at Glastonbury. He has released numerous mix compilations and original productions spanning house, tech house, and techno, maintaining a consistent presence in the electronic music community for over three decades.
