Pedro Fernández (born José Martín Cuevas Cobos on September 28, 1969, in Guadalajara, Mexico) is a Mexican singer, actor, and television host. He began his career as a child performer under the stage name Pedrito Fernández and rose to fame with the 1979 hit "La De La Mochila Azul." Over four decades he has recorded more than thirty albums, blending traditional ranchera and mariachi styles with contemporary música mexicana. Beyond music, Fernández has appeared in numerous telenovelas and films, earning multiple TVyNovelas and other acting awards. He has also served as a coach on the reality singing competition La Voz México and continues to perform internationally while maintaining an active presence in both entertainment and philanthropy.
