Bio

De-Phazz is a German jazz ensemble formed in Heidelberg in 1997. The group blends acid jazz, downtempo, lounge, nu jazz, and trip hop into a signature sound often described as "phazz & jazz." Led by producer Pit Baumgartner, the collective has released numerous albums since the late 1990s and remains active in the European lounge and nu-jazz scenes.
