Eydie Gormé was an American singer whose career spanned more than fifty years, beginning in the 1950s. She became widely known for her interpretations of Latin-American boleros and romantic ballads, often performing in both English and Spanish. Her recordings with husband Steve Lawrence and as a solo artist earned her multiple Grammy Awards and a lasting place in popular music history.
